Building Sanctuary | Rebuilding Lives, the campaign for Mind Springs Health and West Springs Hospital, proudly announces a $120,000 grant from the Boettcher Foundation. The Boettcher Foundation joins Rocky Mountain Health Plans ($150,000), Caring for Colorado Foundation ($100,000), Alpine Bank ($150,000) and Western Colorado philanthropists Claude and Irene Conner ($100,000) in supporting this vital project which will allow West Springs Hospital to treat twice the amount of people in severe mental health crises.

With construction of the new West Springs Hospital underway, securing the final funds to complete this project is critical. Community leaders recognize the tremendous need for mental health services and have been working diligently to offer their resources.

“The Boettcher Foundation is pleased to support the organizations that are working hard on behalf of our Colorado communities,” said Katie Kramer, President and CEO of the Boettcher Foundation. “Mind Springs Health and West Springs Hospital’s work to fill the need for mental health services in Western Colorado is incredibly important and we are honored to contribute to this critical project.”

The new state-of-the-art West Springs Hospital, which is set to open in January 2019, offers a safe and therapeutic environment for patients to heal while enjoying the beauty of Western Colorado.
