Women’s Recovery Center

Fundraising Goal $3,000,000

Raised to date: $365,500

Family-Friendly, Women-Only Residential Rehabilitation

The Women’s Recovery Center, an intensive healing program for women and mothers who desire to keep their children with them during treatment & the only program of its kind on the Western Slope.

Opioid and substance abuse rates have dramatically risen in Colorado and often rural areas see the largest increase. The unique Women’s Recovery Center has helped many young women and mothers to recover. The ability for a mother to have their children stay with her during the program keeps children out of foster care and boosts their success rates. A shutdown of the State Regional Center in Grand Junction, Colo., where the current Recovery Center is located, necessitates a relocation of the program. A new $3,000,000 state-of-the-art 20-bed Recovery Center is planned and will be co-located with another addiction program (the Circle Program) sponsored by the State of Colorado.

The Women’s Recovery/Circle property will also offer space for health care outreach, clinics and community meetings/events.  Read More.
